Winning a roll on the Adventure Wheel is signified by the Renowned Explorers symbol, losing by a skull icon.
Chances on the Adventure Wheel[ | ]
The chance to succeed on the Adventure Wheel is influenced by a variety of factors: the defensive or offensive ability on an explorer, their skills and often a specific trait of that skill. Sometimes multiple skills can be involved in one roll.
If a chance is 100% the Adventure Wheel will not be animated, and an automatic success will be given instead. Similarly, if the chance to succeed is 0%, an automatic loss is given. Modifiers to results will still take effect.
Sometimes the whole group is tested instead of a single explorer, taking into consideration the entire crew's classes and skills.
Odd Symbols[ | ]
Some explorers have reported seeing a triangular symbol on the Adventure Wheel, but no one has yet reported finding out what happens if it is landed upon.
